Room Rates

Rates are based on a maximum of two people per room, per night.

 

Minimum Booking Duration

For the en-suite rooms ‘Suite Dreams’ and “Oh So Suite”, a two night minimum stay is required, and a three night stay on holiday long-weekends, year round.

For “Pine View” and “Daybreak” suites with shared bathroom, a two night minimum stay is required, and a three night stay on holiday long weekends year round.

Special exceptions may be considered. Single night accommodation, if available, has a $40.00 supplemental fee. Please consult with management for further information.

 

Cancellations

The Muskoka Rose requires a full 14 days notice, prior to check-in date, for any cancellation of standard bookings.

Customized stays, including full property bookings or retreat packages, have a separate booking policy. Inquire with management for details during the planning process.

 

Refunds

Full Refund with a full 14 days notice prior to check in date, minus a $30.00 administrative fee.

No refunds for cancellations within 72 hours of the check-in, or ‘no show’ on the date of check-in.

Partial refund of 50% of the booked value, minus a $30.00 administration fee, for cancellations occurring less than 14 days BUT more than 72 hours notice from the check-in date, ONLY IF we are able to re-book the room(s) which have been cancelled.

Customized stays, including full property bookings or retreat packages, have a separate refund policy. Inquire with management for details during the planning process.

 

Breakfast

All B & B prices include breakfast, which is served at 9:00 a.m. in the main common area. Please advise us of any food allergies or dietary intolerances.

 

Transactions

We accept VISA, Master Card, Paypal, Direct Deposit or Cash. Payment is due at the time of booking. A “Request for Accommodations” form must be completed, including names of all guests, contact email and phone number, full address and credit card information to secure your booking.

If any issues arise, such as breakage or damage beyond normal wear and tear, the guest will be notified, and funds will be deducted from the client’s credit card towards the cost of replacement or repair.

 

Check-In

Check-in is between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. No early or late check-in, unless pre-arranged and approved by management. The reception area is closed from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm. All guests are provided with their own security system access code for entry and departure.

 

Check-Out

Check-out from the room is no later than 10:30 am. If you require a late check-out from the room, an additional half day charge will apply to guests departing between the hours of 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. A full day rate will be applied for departures between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.

 

Security

Please do not leave your personal belongings unattended; we are not responsible for lost items. A fee of $35.00 will be charged at check-out if you have lost keys to your room.

 

Third Party Guests

The property’s enjoyment is for our registered guests only. Arrangements for additional guests can be made for a fee. Please consult management for details.

 

Common Areas

We offer free Wi-Fi throughout the suites, common area and the immediate grounds. DVD, VCR, games and small library are located in the common area for your use. Glass objects are not permitted outside, or in the kitchen courtyard area. Food and beverages are not permitted in the suites. Please check with innkeepers before entertaining a fire at either the campfire pit, gas fire table or chiminea, as there are municipal restrictions and seasonal bans. Please respect quiet times which are from 10:30 pm to 8:00 am.

 

Children

Our accommodations are not suitable for young children. Suggested minimum age is that of a mature young adult of 18 years.

 

Dinner

When booking, please feel free to inquire about the locally inspired cuisine. We are happy to provide referrals, and make reservations for you on your behalf.

 

No Pets Allowed

 

No Smoking

There is no smoking or use of candles within the buildings and in and around the outdoor common areas. There is a special outdoor area designated for those wishing to smoke. Please consult with management as to its location.

 

Housekeeping

Our housekeeping staff will prepare your suite for your arrival. Daily housekeeping is not included in the standard package, but it can be arranged for a reasonable fee. Bed linens, bath towels, beach towels and some amenities are provided for each guest. Each bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer. An ironing board and iron are available. Please ask management for details.

 

Recreational Equipment

The Muskoka Rose is happy to provide recreational equipment such as 2 kayaks, 2 canoes, 1 paddleboat, 2 mountain bikes, 2 pairs of snow shoes, 4 tennis racquets, a lawn croquet set and horse shoes for the enjoyment of all guests. Please note that there are waiver agreements and/or sign out sheets that must be filled out for their use.
